Anam's Graduation Cake

This cake was ordered by a client for her graduation ceremony.
Made from our ever-so-popular red velvet madeira, it came in the shape of a book, to of course reflect the occassion.

It was filled and crumb-coated with our luxurious almond flavoured buttercream, before covering with white and brown fondant for the book cover. The certificate and ribbon were hand cut from fondant, while the hat was made from cardboard and covered with fondant.

Though this came in red velvet, other flavours we offer can be found here.

Congratulations Anam
Enjoy and please leave a comment, thanks.

Harvest 2014 Cakes

The cakes featured were made for this year's adult harvest ceremony in my church. We had a fruit basket (a popular design for harvests) and one of our more adaptable cake designs.

This was made from three layers of our highly sort after red velvet madeira, to achieve the height. It was then filled and crumb-coated in rich almond flavoured buttercream icing, before covering in cream coloured fondant.
The patterns were hand-painted using gold and copper metallic food paint and the entire cake was topped with an edible loop bow.

The basket was made from our sumptuous vanilla madeira, filled with mixed fruit jam and crumb-coated in luxurious buttercream icing.
Then we covered in the basket-designed fondant and fondant ropes for the borders. All fruits toppers, except the pineapple which was shop bought, were hand-made from fondant or marzipan; making both cakes entirely edible.

Check out other flavours and coverings here.
Wishing all parishioners many more fruitful years.
