Giovanni's Birthday Cake (2)

Hi guys, told you earlier that part II of my son's birthday cake was loading, lol. Well, it's here now and i'm delighted to feature it.

Both the ball and field were made from our heavenly red velvet madeira, filled and crumb-coated with rich buttercream, before covering with fondant icing.

The field markings were hand-painted with edible food paint, while the pentagons and hexagons for the football were cut out of black /white fondant. It was then finished off with a pipping of green-tinted buttercream for the field look.

The players and goal posts are of course plastic figurines to complete the scene. Our other flavours and coverings can be found here.

Here's wishing Giovanni a very happy birthday (once again).
Enjoy!

Vickela's Birthday Cake

The cake featured was made for a colleague to celebrate her daughter's second birthday.

Her cake was made from our heavenly, ever-so-moist vanilla madeira. It was then filled and crumb-coated with rich, creamy buttercream, before covering with fondant icing. The doll's dress, hair band, as well as ear rings were all hand-crafted from fondant; not forgetting the dainty butterflies. Every part of the cake is yummily edible, except the doll pick of course.

Giovanni's Birthday Cake (1)

Yep, it's my son's birthday today and here's the cake for his nursery party. We decided on two cakes; the first one is George Pig themed and the second is currently loading, lol.

This was made from our delectable, ever-so-moist vanilla madeira. It was filled and crumb-coated in chocolate and vanilla marbled butter cream, then covered with duck-egg blue fondant.
The rail tracks and train carriages were hand-crafted from fondant, so also George pig himself and his dragon. Making his entire cake yummily edible.

Here's wishing my baby a very happy birthday, long life and prosperity. Thanking God for your life. Hope you have fun with your friends today.

More Of Our Cakes

Sunday was our children's end of summer feast in my church and the cake featured was for the occassion. Abi now, for me, every joyous event needs a cake, lol.

Made from our ever-so-moist and heavenly vanilla madeira, this cake was a delight for the kids (and adults alike).
It was filled and crumb-coated with rich vanilla buttercream, before covering with fondant. The decorative flowers and border were made out of fondant and all yummily edible. Though this came in vanilla, your cake can be made in any of our flavours

The kids sure had a blast. Enjoy and please leave your comments.
